August is Black Business Month. This is our opportunity to celebrate both our inaugural class of graduates (SBT) and the hard working black owned businesses in our community.
We’re hosting our annual Black Business Month Celebration and Graduation on Friday August 9th, 2024 at the MDC Homestead Campus, Bldg C, 4th Floor. This event will begin at 6pm with a spectacular welcoming reception. This will lead to our graduation of our 2024 class of SBT graduates who will all receive certificates. Guest speakers will offer a few words in this special occasion.
Throughout the evening there will be presentations made by county and local leaders. We look to spotlight and give recognition to our small businesses and organizations. Our selected minority owned food caterers will provide entrees for the evening. Beverages will be served throughout. Truly an evening of celebration.
